My Blooming Series is inspired by the flowers in my gardens and the ever-changing beauty of the East Tennessee mountains—both of which bring me joy throughout the year. This collection, created with acrylic paint wood panels, allows me to build rich layers of color, texture, and hand-painted collage elements. Through these techniques, along with bold contrasts and vivid hues, I invites viewers to explore the intricate details within each piece. Flowers have a deep emotional resonance, often tied to personal memories, and I hope that each viewer finds a moment of joy or nostalgia in my work.
